My work is built around a simple idea: when the role changes, the tools need to change too.
Maxime brings together coaching, healthcare leadership, military planning, project management, and system-level consulting experience to support people and organizations through meaningful transition.
PulseBridge reflects his belief that capable people can still need better tools when the responsibility changes. Whether he is coaching an individual, facilitating a leadership program, or supporting a department through workforce or strategic planning, Maxime’s approach is thoughtful, direct, practical, and grounded in the realities of healthcare.
Maxime is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, certified in EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-360, and trained through Coaching Out of the Box.
His coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that clients are resourceful, creative, intelligent, and the experts in their own context. He does not see coaching as telling people what to do. Instead, he creates a space where clients can think deeply, challenge assumptions, strengthen self-awareness, and take meaningful action.
Maxime’s coaching style is warm, respectful, and appropriately challenging. He believes in his clients’ capacity to grow, adapt, and achieve their goals, while also helping them examine the patterns, beliefs, and behaviours that may be limiting their progress.
His interest in transition is not new. It is rooted in his military background, his passion for helping people through moments of pressure and change, and his Master’s thesis on the importance of early support during transitional stages.
Maxime brings more than a dozen years of healthcare leadership experience across long-term care, federal healthcare, academic medicine, and hospital care. He has worked in environments where strategy, operations, governance, people, and culture all need to align under real pressure.
He holds an MBA and professional designations including Project Management Professional, Certified Health Executive, and Lean Six Sigma Healthcare Professional. He is also a qualified military medical planner, having completed advanced planning training with the Canadian Armed Forces and the NATO Medical Planning Course in Germany.
His consulting approach blends analytical rigour with practical collaboration. Maxime understands the data-backed, evidence-informed nature of healthcare, but also knows that the best analysis is only valuable when it is translated into decisions, narratives, and tools that leaders and teams can actually use.
He has overseen large multi-million-dollar projects, supported and lead several strategic planning cycles, contributed to workforce and operational planning, and led system improvement work across complex environments. He has also received the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine Excellence Award for Innovation and Transformation.
Maxime believes strongly in service, community, and the value of contributing beyond formal roles. He serves as Patient and Resident Representative on a Board Committee for the Deep River District Health Board of Directors, is an Executive Member of the Eastern Ontario Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders, and is Co-Director of the Emerging Health Leaders Ottawa Node.
Outside of work, Maxime is an avid hockey fan (Go Habs Go!) and enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and son.
